The bats started slumping before the SR. Nebraska had us on the ropes in the regional.

Yep. We won that regional with one swing essentially.

When Franklin started tightening up I had that sinking feeling. Franklin had played loose his entire career. But he just couldn't get contact to save his life, much less in play, much less a hit.

His walk to start the rally in game 3 against Nebraska was pure heart and experience.

Yep and the pitching started to fall apart in the regional against a no name team from New Jersey.
