Jonathan Cannon threw 5 perfect innings with 6Ks and 65 pitches.

Exits before the 6th as he is in a pitch count, his first game back in 3 weeks.

A&M has 4 hits in 14 innings. It could be a lot worse.

This year has been weird because this is the most bullish I've been on a team since 2018 or 2009 and most fans are treating this like our 2014 team?

Maybe I'm dead wrong. But our starters and bullpen are progressing. Our pitching depth is miles above last year. Hitting is worse so far this year, but everyone is getting their slump out early. Hell, Moore is hitting 240 and were 30-8.

Even Van Horn is tinkering with the lineup like Maineiri, primarily because were still figuring it out.

I like this team. A lot. We're still figuring it out with a 2 game lead in the West.

Maybe we bomb out in terrible fashion, but I'm more comfortable about this team in the postseason compared to last year.
