What I like is all 4 of our TEs catch the ball when its thrown near them and they all possess wr speed with very large bodies.

Should also allow us to dominate the run game.

It's pros and cons to it, it will create issues for other teams for sure but hopefully ego doesn't get involved with one of the guys feeling like they are not getting the ball enough. We are solid on offense

Ahh yes. Everyone’s favorite off-season pastime. Fantasizing about shite that will never happen. $100 says they will never run this formation.

I'll bet $100 that they will have 4 te's on the field at some point. Some may not be lined up as a TE but four will be on the field at some point. If the other team calls a TO it still counts. Deal?

Really doesn't seem so far fetched.

Yeah, how many offensive snaps happen over a 12 game season?

Seems like a good shot based on volume alone.

Ex: two on the line, one at hback or fullback, and one split out wide.

The variety of run/pass options out of that package would stress test an IBM computer

On top of that the qb might run…
It could be pretty dynamic but we all know how safe Kirby likes to play it on offense. Hopefully I’m wrong and he lets monken run wild with all these players. The tight end play is exciting though. I wish bowers and Washington would’ve been available yesterday.

Why wouldn’t we have all our best offensive weapons on the field at the same time? Yeah… shitty idea

Considering that at least two of them can be split out at WR, I guarantee we see all four of them on the field at the same time at some point.

Versatile TEs unlock so much potential in an offense. You can run a 4TE power set on one play and then have a 3WR/2TE spread set on the next play without changing personnel and not allowing the defense to sub. This would especially work because of McIntosh's ability as a receiver. If done right, it presents a nightmare for defensive coordinators.

So many pass-catchers to keep happy and only one football to play with.

And if you're coming out with a 4 TE set they're most likely going to try to match your size to offset the run game advantage, but then there's a pick your poison scenario with the pass options that set will bring us. Add in the hurry up element you mentioned and that defense is getting taken for a ride in the slam sedan.

What teams on our regular season schedule can hope to have the LBs and DBs required to defend against any single freak TE, let alone the possibility that 4 of them are out on the field.
