Bruce Arians was the last college or NFL head coach that coached under Bryant at some point in their career. John Mitchell is still coaching for the Steelers but that's it. Pretty impressive considering Bryant has been gone for 40 years.

I'm confused. Was bruce the last coach under bryant coaching? If so who is john mitchell and why is he relevant?

Arians was a GA at Va Tech and then spent a couple years at Miss State before spending one yes just one year at Alabama. He came back to Bama in 1997 for one year under Dubose so I guess he is a part of his tree as well

Don’t really consider that to be under Bryant’s coaching tree
