Is the end of the season. I swear, all of these multi page threads are just ridiculous to me. Yes, UGA got their arse kicked by Bama, yes, LSU was taken to the woodshed by the Turds. It is entirely possible that in a few weeks, everyone will be looking at those two games as total flukes, just a bad night for either team.

Rag on UGA for the Bama game, big f'n deal, kudos to Bama, for 30 minutes ya'll whipped the shite out of us, and then held on the other 30. Florida looked all world last night, but the week prior was "overrated" themselves.

UGA, LSU, Bama, Florida, etc, all still hold the keys their respective seasons. One loss, even an arse kicking means crap in the SEC other than showing what your best or worst CAN be. Doesnt mean it always is. We see at the end of the year who is capable of being their best more than the other teams.

So, please, all this over/underrated talk, give it a rest. We can all weigh in at the end of the year with facts. LSU was "overrated" Saturday night, but if they win out, guess what, they will be ahead of Florida, and probably playing for the title. Same goes for UGA and the rest of the still remaining big dogs.

My $.02.

Unless all the other big teams lose 2 games OR LSU gets a rematch with UF in the SECCG and destroys them by 20+, it's not going to happen. 1 loss SEC team is not the same as a 1 loss SEC team that lost by 30 points. Teams have good and bad days, but the teams that get the nod are the ones that have the bad days and still keep it close.

I still have hope but realistically they are lowering from national championship to SEC championship and a bowl win.

If LSU wins out, they will represent the West in the SEC title game. Then they will either play Florida or whoever is there for the East. Like I said, if they WIN OUT, they play for the title, in my humble opinion.

Same story goes for UGA/BAMA/Florida/Vandy

It's that great time in the season when several teams have control over their destiny. I can't help but think Bama is overrated now, but if the stars line up, they might win it all.

OTOH, when I was 4, I figured I'd rule the Universe. When I was 6, I'd settle for POTUS. When I graduated HS, I was a shoe-in for being a CEO. When I graduated college, I was happy with a decent job with medical.

Every CFB season follows that same meme. For the record, going to Shreveport was a positive thing.

According to this website, every team in the top 10 is "overrated."

Amen. You cant say all the teams in our conference are overrated outside of your own, then go beating your chest saying the SEC is the superior conference to others. Either the teams are good, or they arent. LSU, UGA, Florida were all "overrated" for a 60 minute window, but they all sure as hell could kick the tar out of someone this weekend or the next and it not surprise me one bit (although with UGAs O line falling apart, it would be a great accomplishment).

Lots of football to be played.

Unless LSU beats them. In that case, the Tigahs put them in their place.

A team on this site is overrated unless we beat them or lose to them. If we beat them, we become "the only team that could have beaten them this year," and if we lose to them, I.E. Florida, it's "I don't see them losing another game this year. They go to the NC and we get a bid for the Sugar Bowl."

Its weird how only LSU fans overstate their own team's accomplishments and question other teams abilities.

All other fans, especially other SEC fans ,have always been real objective about their own team and have always been complimentary and honest about their opponents and other teams in general.

Strange.

We share a common observation. It's long been my hope that other SEC fans could follow the typical Bama fan's prescient and perspicacious attitude towards CFB, but alas, I've been sadly disappointed. Quarrels abound, death threats break out, and much umbrage is taken. Fortunately, I'm here to comfort the sick, and bring the lost lamb to the fold.

Come to me my babies; let me quell your pain... <offering a Big Gulp sized cup of Sabanade>
