JT Daniels was at the Black and Gold game. That would be a very good pick up for Drink.

We need some good news after the Gates hire

I heard he’s got Oregon State as his top choice. Maybe that’s subject to change with his visit here.

Well we wo t lose the facilities battle with Oregon State. He's a for sure starter at OSU, they have a QB friendly system but lack the talent to truly put up impressive numbers. Gotta have WRs to throw to. We have the WR talent and RB talent to keep a defense honest.

He can realistically come to Mizzou and get his name mentioned in NFL circles in 2 years.

Can’t see why he would pick Oregon State over us unless he thinks he wouldn’t start here

Possibly knows that he will get exposed against SEC defenses and prefers what he has seen of PAC defenses?

Oregon State does have a very good offensive minded head coach in Jonathan Smith but if Daniels is serious about competing at a high level, Mizzou is obviously a better choice.

Battle for a spot here, given to him there. Macon and cook looked better than I expected

I agree with this sentiment. Drink won't guarantee the job to Daniels. I doubt Daniels risks not being "the man" on his second and last transfer. He's looking for a chance to put up big numbers.

ya if JT isnt day 1 starter, his career is almost all but done, its too risky for him to compete at this point

I doubt JT looks at Cook and Macon and is afraid to compete. Remember this kid earned the starting job at USC as a true freshman. Then earned the starting job at UGA. He's been derailed by 2 injuries, not competition. He has the talent to get the most from this collection of talented wide receivers.

If we lose out to Oregon State, not a good look for JT either. Looks like he's trying to avoid playing Georgia/SEC competition.
