To get Florida out of the way, Arkansas has 6 Final Fours, 10 Elite Eights, and 13 Sweet 16's to Florida's 5 Final Fours, 9 Elite Eights and 11 Sweet 16's - Nice job Florida

I have never seen a fanbase get so arrogant acting over accomplishing NOTHING of note recently. Lord help us if you guys actually win something of note anytime soon.

This post finally helped me understand why the arkie fans are so adamant a 3 game winning streak in a tournament is a better accomplishment than a Regular Season championship....you celebrate what you have to celebrate.

CBB is about the tournament. The regular season is about getting the best seed you can in the tourny.
But we also have 5x as many regular season conference championships as Auburn if you want to look at it that way

It's about the tournament, man. And not to fret, Arkansas will win the regular season championship next year. But yeah, it's about the tournament. It's what everyone (including recruits) pay attention to.
We are just three years in with this guy. It really starts paying dividends next season with that #2 class.

No, don't be sheep. The NCAA makes all of its money on the tourney and has convinced everyone through a 30 year marketing ploy of the false premise you suggest. Think for yourself.

Tennessee fans are very realistic. We know we haven't won anything much of note recently in football or basketball.
We did go to the world series in baseball last year and look to do it again this year, though.
Our main focus is football. Seeing our basketball and baseball teams do well is just icing on the cake.
And we finally got our coach. Heupel and Hooker are going to set SEC records this upcoming season. Call me delusional all you want, but it's going to happen and i will be here to laugh at the doubters.

So you clearly didn't understand the nature of my comment.
Not sure why your Elite 8's compared to Auburn's Sweet 16's means anything, but this is a message board. So craft whatever message you want. I do appreciate the look into your fanbases perspective. It's flawed but I understand it better.

I said we look good enough to do it and i did bet money on that. But i also said there was a good chance we don't get past Nova. Michigan played above their heads last night mainly because of Dickinson being so hot. Considering we had our worst night of three point shooting in a long time they should have beat us worse than they did.

Exactly, that’s how teams reference good years too. No one would say “remember the year Frank Martin finished 4th in the SEC?” They would reference the final 4.
