I mean this isn't even the first time in the last 5 years LSU Basketball has gone to the NCAAT with an interim coach 
LSU's last 3 NCAAT trips have all had a different coach
2019 : Tony Benford
2021 : Will Wade
2022 : Kevin Nickelberry
