He offered Smart a top notch education at a great university. He offered Smart a chance to start at point guard for his home town school where he would be a legend for the rest of his life. He offered Smart a chance to run an offense that would improve his NBA draft prospects and give him the best opportunity at a future in pro basketball.

That’s a strong arse offer.

Yes it is, which means all the teams that offered extra incentives violated the rules. Whether the player ended up going there or not.
