I don’t think Jabari goes number one if draft was today. There’s a been a couple games that’s exposed him a bit as a finisher.

Kessler def goes round 1 IMO. He’s a once in every 5-10 years type of shot blocker

Chet was trending towards number one. Then he played a good opponent again and looked like he did earlier in the season against better competition. Meanwhile Jabari scored 27 points against an elite defense on the road. I don't think anybody is gonna pass on Jabari but guess it might depend on who wins lottery and what they need.

I've listened to numerous NBA podcasts where they all talk about how they think Jabari is their #1 and is definitely in contention depending who gets the pick

quote:

find a few faults, like physicality that they'll want

The NBA always believes they can fix a lot of things. Jabari's flaws all are things that are reasonably fixable too

- Size/Skinny --> NBA believes S&C he will fill out
- Physicality --> He plays hard but just not big enough
- Handle --> Guys like BOS' Tatum examples of improvement
- TOs --> Young player

The thing is too that Jabari is grading out at near 100% for a #1 for intangibles like 'coachability,' 'give a sh!t' and 'work ethic'

It makes NBA teams more confident that he will reach his ceiling
