re: "Recruiting Season" 2023 Class

Anyone know if we are going to step up our portal recruiting after early signing day? It is a little concerning these recruiting sites only have us in the mix for McCall when you look at all these 4 star and high 3 star ranked portal transfers that are still out there. Meanwhile teams like Michigan that are taking the same NIL approach as us with high school recruits are in the mix for a bunch of those portal players.

Even with a 12 team playoff I doubt #10 area recruiting classes are going to cut it to get 10 win regular seasons with Oklahoma and Texas joining the mix.

If this doesn't change after early signing day I am going to wonder of this is Napier's arrogance or is it a big boosters issue.

Well if it doesn't change after early signing day and if he isn't arrogant then it would have to be a big boosters issue compared to a lot of the other SEC schools that aren't at the very top of recruiting with the high school kids. Even if Napier is a good evaluator you aren't going to beat teams recruiting like Georgia too often or get 10 win seasons in the SEC if you aren't weaponizing that portal some.

Why in the world would Cam Rising leave a very good Utah team. To enter the portal and potentially come to Florida makes no sense what so ever. I think if he leaves Utah it's to go to the next level not to transfer to a different place in College.
