We have a lot of cucks in our fanbase who will disagree but I am with you. They demanded Harsin flinch and he said “frick you”.

I can’t disagree with what you said. Well put.

None of us have much choice but hope he is right. If some of the faults about him are true maybe this is a wake up call. There is a chance, small I know, that this will galvanize the program and everyone around it. It would be a kind of Auburn thing to happen. Maybe this earns him some “street cred” with recruits in the future. You just never know. It’s my school, it’s my team, so I am going to root for it.

Unfortunately they have fricked recruiting for him so it probably won’t matter

I'd do the same in his shoes. Respect him as a man for knowing he's clean and not bending.

A non-emotional view of the situation would say we're probably better ripping the bandaid off now. He will clearly not have admin or booster support going forward. Calling other Auburn fans "cucks" probably doesn't help that.

I don't respect him for skipping Bo's tournament, not embracing the southern/AU traditions, coaching turnover, meltdowns in big games... I'm also not sure he will be able to recruit now.

Just hope we don't end up fractured going forward.

The alternative to not coaching at the best school he will ever be at is collecting an 18 million dollar check. It was a win win situation so don’t understand this thread.

The alternative was probably AU having a smoking gun.

I agree that he’s a bad arse but that doesn’t at all mean he will succeed at Auburn. I don’t think he will

I mean I guess he knew what Auburn could get him on. Probably a measured move.

He is a douche bag a-hole from two star U. He does like drag racing though. I’m sure that will convince future pro athletes to play for him. The five stars in our backyard will be flocking to him.

Regardless of Harsin, that is lame. Same posters wailing and gnashing their teeth wanting Harsin gone, were wailing and gnashing their teeth for Gus to be gone, and they will be the same ones pounding the pulpit for the next coach to be fired.

I don’t really miss Gus. That was a little extreme. Gus was good/great and crashed. I don’t think Harsin will ever get there. He crashed and burned this season. I don’t see him rising above his high point of this previous season.

He is a drag racer though!

And the Harsin White Knights will be either still deflecting or disappearing a year from now.
