And I am curious too to see what Hoke’s role was - Hoke was, after all, the one who first broke the news about all this, and now Hoke is acting like he doesn’t know anything

The first place I saw any smoke about this was a post on the Rant. About Harsin and his assistant. Thursday morning everybody dropped stories.

Yea right, I still won’t be able to miss a snap of football. I always wanted to give Harsin at least 2-3 years to see what he can do. If he sucks majorly at that point, cut ties. But what we have witnessed the past two weeks is INSANITY.

Hoke will only feed the rumor mill which ever way sentiment takes him, but he seems pretty connected.

Not sure it was Boosters. More likely exit interviews, complaints, etc. that have been reported (Most point to Mason).
From there if you follow Gogue's statement, we investigated..
The rest is internet and media rumor and speculation. Doesn't mean boosters were behind it. That is what they want you to believe. Now Boosters are like us normal fans, they heard and saw what is happening with the program and have concerns.

So if someone did accuse him of stuff and after investigation we found nothing, where does that leave us? Seems like just a shitty situation where nobody is really at fault

Doesn't matter. If there was a booster involved he'll be protected so well you'll never know. It's the Auburn way.
