If this is true then Auburn will be a dumpster fire and bottom of the West for at least 5 years, they sabotaged their own program
Never good when an AD admits that they'll cave to the whims of the players and boosters. What happens when half of them don't like or agree upon the next hire or don't like his "style"? They gonna sabotage him too?
I can tell you that he'll be a no-name, underqualified minority if the players get their wish because no big name is gonna take that job after this. And what about the players that liked Harsin and had his back? You think they'll excel in a locker room where they know a few divas got their way? What if they don't like the next coach?
This is entertaining AF from the outside, but if I were an AU fan id be resigned to the fact that we're gonna suck for quite a while.

They are gonna be the next Tennessee. Years and years in the wilderness, disappointment after disappointment. It’s coming and the best part is that they did this to themselves.

I would if I were in their shoes.

This man knows how to beat Bama and can get you Heisman QBs on campus. It may be a bit hard to pull him away right now since he's coaching in the pros but I bet if Barn offers enough he'll jump back into the SEC fire.
