I get being juiced up for a big game, but RJF's comment on taking Tebow out of a game was ill advised. Especially since ESPN is only quoting the first half of his statement, and they are convienently leaving off the secound half where RJF compliments Tebow's heart and size.

No need to add fuel and motivation to a fire that is already burning brightly as it is.

Don't blame any of RJF's dumbass comments on ESPN. He said some disrespectful things. I don't care if he did give Tebow some props, most of what he said was classless.

I don't know. Something about that BLOG stinks of "Saban post-game speech gate" from a few years back.

I thought that too, but it made the scroll on ESPN and my dad heard it on Mike and Mike this morning. Looks like it's real.

I don't get a guy that has been around as he has making some kind of jackass comment like that. Especially when we are playing in the Swamp.

Ricky Jean Francois is a thug, nothing more, nothing less. And since he's from Haiti, has anyone even checked to see if he's in this country legally? I am ashamed that he is a member of our football team. And I'm mad at Miles for the hypocrisy of the whole thing: he'll dismiss Ryan Perriloux from the team for skipping some classes, but this Francois guy can mouth off about hurting another human being, viciously no less, and be allowed to be a starter? At this clip, what with the thug image, we'll be known as the new Miami in no time!

I just hope RJF comes to play and backs it up. It is going to be extremly tough to come out of there with a victory, I just hope that these comments did not arse fuel to the fire.

I think he has another inborn approach - being stupid. He is naturally dumb and hence very good at inciting folks. He tries hard to be subtle ending up being stupid and hence ends up with us being really frustrated and annoyed.

No, he's just a fan of another school, likely Bama.

I'm most concerned about flag happy refs getting wind of it and having the I'll show you attitude. Remember Tebow can draw a late hit while still in bounds and on his feet without those comments.

In context or not, saying you intend and will try to take somebody out of the game is stupid from a variety of angles.

if any other player acted like Tebow did, jumping around and taunting the crowd after touchdowns, everyone would be talking about how much of a thug he is.

No one knows this better than LSU defensive lineman Ricky Jean-Francois, who says his defensive line getting a clean shot on a player can equate to "a car wreck without a seat belt."

"If we get a good shot on [Tebow], we're going to try our best to take him out of the game," Jean-Francois said. "With his size and his heart, it's hard to get a clean shot."

When asked how Tebow might deal with the pain of the perfect LSU hit, Jean-Francois said, "If he does get hurt, there's a trained medical staff at Florida, so you can go to the training room on Sunday."

Hey, little girls, if you get a clean shot on somebody in football, everybody tries to make it such a powerful hit that it knocks the other guy out of the game. LaRon Landry... Craig Steltz... you think those guys weren't trying to knock the other guy out of the game? This is football. You know how you always hear the praise for the recievers who extend themselves for a catch over the middle, knowing a safety is coming over to knock them out of the game? You know how anytime somebody puts a massive, crushing hit on someone else, everybody is impressed? This is football. Tackling is something that hurts. If you want a game were people aren't allowed to lay bone-breaking hits on each other, don't watch football or hockey. Try basketball.

He probably could of worded it differently but I totally agree with him, hit him as hard as you possibly can everytime you get a clean shot. If you try to arm tackle Tebow he'll run right through you.

Calm down d-bagz. He didnt say he was gonna roll on his knee.
