Because LSU is the only SEC school with a real football history with A$M. We tried to warn y’all that they were a bad fit but you didn’t listen and here we are.

2019 LSU had 3/4* Burrow, 2* Justin Jefferson, 3* Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Jefferson was a 3-star player.
LSU's 2019 class had 3 5-star and 11 4-star players
LSU's 2018 class had 1 5-star and 12 4-star players
LSU's 2017 class had 1 5-star and 14 4-star players
LSU's 2016 class had 2 5-star and 15 4-star players
To answer the OP's question, notice how the hate ramped up considerably after 74-72.

Long history with the Aggies, plus a large portion of our alumni base deal directly with their alumni

I will say this though - when the sips finally can't run away from playing a game in Baton Rouge anymore the melt will be glorious and we will enjoy every minute of their delicious tears.

No one seems to understand why LSU always picks on A&M but I have a theory about it. Alabama has kicked LSU's arse for so long in football that they are too ashamed to mess with them so they strike out at others for little to no reason.

Get rid of that and they wouldn't be so disliked as much.

How is it, at least on this forum, that TAMU has generated such a widespread distaste.
This is an LSU board and we are their biggest rival. It's that simple.
If you went to a Texas board, they would be obsessed with OU.

If you are using Georgia as an example, it takes several top classes stacked back to back. Then you need some of the draft eligible juniors to return. You'll also need a few guys flying under the radar to step up and fill the void of the 5 stars that didn't pan out for whatever reason.

Funny
You had 3 in the last 20 years
And as you pointed out had top notch recruiting
And I’m pretty sure I have seen several LSU posters mocking your last 2 coaches that won NCs. Thus kind of proving my point, that recruiting is important.
Still remember the Barry Switzer interview where he basically said the same. Winning in college football starts and ends with recruiting.
So you say WRONG
Well, we will just take our chances with this top class and see what happens.
You need the Jimmies and Joes, there is no doubt. You need good recruiting, but the days of Barry Switzer are over where they can just pile talent and out talent everyone. If you to not have top notch coaching, you are not going to win championships on talent alone. Jimbo is an 8-4 coach. Give him Bama's roster and he goes 8-4. Give Nick Saban last year's Aggie roster and he is in the playoffs.

It's mainly LSU fans and sip wannabe's. I pay them no attention

Give Saban last year's Aggie roster and he's on his 4th string QB. You grossly underestimate how bad the offensive line was at the beginning of the year.

Not really disdain for me. They're just fricking weird as hell as a whole. And that's from someone whose fanbase throws shitpaper in trees.

LSU fears them.

2 Things, but really its the same thing:

LSU fans accepted and embraced a submissive posture towards Alabama going back decades. It's just who they are and how that relationship works. In A&M's case, LSU has owned that school for a long time but now that A&M is showing signs that they will also start dominating LSU, LSU is uneasy with the new power dynamic. History shows that LSU fans will lash out and cause problems for a little while until they inevitably accept their new A&M daddies as well.
ETA: everyone else hates A&M because they’re just fake, fruity weirdos with a massive inferiority complex towards the state’s flagship university.

Aggie brags about beating Chad Morris. They are pathetic.

I am a Georgia fan and I can say unequivocally that we have some overanxious d-bag fans, some alcoholic losers and some outright idiots. So the FL, AU, TN, SC fans have had to put up with us for a century. We’ve earned our hate. But 1 decade of work, color me impressed

There's just a handful of them who give the lot a bad name. There's some good TAMU posters on here. EKG is a good one.
I don't know enough TAMU fans/grads irl to make an assessment of them. The Florida fans on this board, however, are far and away better than the actual fans you run into irl
