No Google.
Who is the only coach in UGA history to be on staff for two NCs?
First correct answer gets a hairy jelly bean.

hmm possible trick question?
Erk was on the 1980 staff for an NC, then went to get another NC at GA Southern right?

Coach Cavan is not in a coaching role. He raises money.

if that was how the game was played kirby smart would be the first answer lol
ETA: I don't have a guess but I'm going to think that the wording of "national title" is using the bama version whihc would include 27, 46, and 68 to our totals. So the answer is likely someone that would have been on staff in the mid-40s. Maybe butts?

If you can consider Cavan, then you can add Robert Miles, Loran Smith, and Claude Felton

You are correct sir. Congrats.
Bonus question: Other than playing for UGA being on UGA staff, what else do Smart, Muschamp and Cavan have in common?

I’m pretty sure Squabby Jones was 46 and 80.

Squab was never employed by the University. DGD though.

He was considered a trainer. He wore same shirt as trainers.

Robert Miles played in 80 and is on staff today still.
Claude Felton was on AD Staff in late 70s and still is.

Loran Smith
I think he's been on staff for three NC's.

Loran is like the Program Historian or something like that. He is “on staff” , but not a coach. We still call Mike Cavan, Coach Cavan, but we also call Robert Miles, Coach Miles. Neither are technically coaches now.

Tyler and Deep are our weekly winners. I'll keep score.
Thanks for playing. Stay tuned for next Wed.

Robert wasn’t on staff in 80, though; he was on the field
Robert also isn’t football exclusive like Cavan, he helps manage life skills and The Georgia Way for all teams
