Do they still try to keep higher seed teams close to home early in the tournament? If we are a #1 seed are we most likely to end up in Greenville rounds 1-2?

All depends on who else is #1 seed and where we end up. If we stay the overall #1 seed yes Greenville, but if we drop and Duke is also a #1 seed we might get sent somewhere else or be a 2 seed

There are two “pods” of 4 teams each sent to each location. Right now, it looks like AU’s pod and Duke’s pod go to Greenville. I already have a hotel and tickets to the round of 32 game on Sunday. Not planning on going Friday because there are two sessions (morning and night) so no way of planning that ahead of time.

Would prefer Duke to keep losing a few times. I have a feeling CBS will be full time Coach K worship during the tourney and i'm sure the players will be playing hard for him. But then again, I sure did enjoy beating Kanas, UNC, and Kentucky all in a row.

At the current rate that both teams are performing, AU and Duke wouldn’t meet until at least the Elite 8, and that’s if they are both in the same bracket. Sorry for the confusion, but 2 pods of 4 teams get sent to each site. I forgot to clarify that the pods could be located in completely separate brackets. Right now, Joe Lunardi has Auburn as a 1 seed in the Midwest regional but spending opening weekend in Greenville. Duke is a 2 seed in the South regional, but is also sent to Greenville for opening weekend (a completely separate pod on the bracket).

Still very difficult to predict where a team might land at this point.

Would love for Auburn to be the team to end Coach K's career, much like the Bear.
