With almost half the season complete so far who is your choice for SEC Coach of the Year?

Mine is Bobby Johnson. Vandy is playing at a level I have never seen with the smallest Athletic budget and without an Athletic Director. Johnson is building a program that will only get stronger with the ESPN Game Day exposure this past weekend. All those Football Smart guys will want to come to Nashville and play football in the SEC.

Johnson, but I'm gonna laugh when everything stops going Vandy's way and you come back down to earth.

12th in total offense + 10th in total defense = 5-0

Something doesn't add up.

Johnson by far if he wins 7+ games, remember they had that meltdown in 2005 after a 4-0 start.

Saban
Johnson
Miles

In that order, but until they start losing its a 3 way tie.

I have to agree, if he keeps this going and takes vandy to a bowl I would have to say that he has done more with less than anybody in the SEC.

When you look at BAMA, LSU, Auburn and the others you are suppose to win at a school like that and if you can't then you suck.

Right now, Saban.

If Vandy can beat UGA though, Johnson locks it up for the year short of losing every single remaining game.

Cebon this year

Croom last year was a fluke like Johnson this year, also, Vandy will lose 3-4 games this year easy.

Miles was Robbed last year, and his first year was one of the best coaching jobs I've ever seen. You CANNOT exclude the effect of Katrina and Rita on what all those kids went through. With fans moaning about Cebon, the storms to still go 11-2 and destroy Miami- should have been coach of the year.
Last year? 5/5 on fourth downs vs Florida- calls that worked and were atypical, definatly coach of the year in SEC last year, possibly the nation.

You have to go with Johnson right now with Saban right on the footsteps. Vandy is 5-0, 3-0 SEC...let me repeat, VANDERBILT is 5-0 and 3-0 in the SEC. If Johnson gets this team to a bowl game you have to go with him.
