"Addazio was most recently at Colorado State, serving as the head coach of the Rams for the last two seasons. In December, Addazio was fired after compiling a 4-12 record."

I heard Woodward was interested in Jimbo, Riley and Aranda and they all turned him down for what it’s worth.

Just a rumor, man. No reason to get triggered and start with your usual deflections and what-aboutisms.

Heard from source Aggies tried to hire Nick Toth for DC, Jimbo going to hire the best available.

One Aggie today: We spent the money to keep all of our coaches.
Another Aggie today: We hired another new coach to replace one we lost.
Aggie logic, never change.

I’m good with hiring former head coaches as position coaches. Heard he was the offensive coordinator under Meyer during Tim Tebow days. Hopefully he works out. The one we lost was pretty good in my opinion.
Took this from Texags.

In Addazio’s first season as an offensive coordinator, Florida finished 13-1 with an SEC Eastern Division title and a Sugar Bowl Championship. The Gators’ only blemish was an SEC Championship Game loss to eventual-national-champion Alabama. That season, Florida ranked sixth in scoring offense (457.9) and 10th nationally in scoring offense (35.9) with a unit led by Tim Tebow.

This literally describes Dan Mullen. You want him as well?

I have no doubt you Cotton Eyed Joes love this hire just as much as DCo Tim DeRuyter back in the day. Let's hear the spin.

Not interested, but not because of his qualifications.
This describes many head coaches that hire former head coaches and coordinators to coach position groups because they excelled as position coaches in the past.

If he stayed in his lane Mullen would probably be an incredible OC. Not sure what your point is.

So, that means about out of money?

Bammers said this about Doug Marrone a year ago.
Now they want him ran out of town.

As an OC or a position coach? Sure. Just b/c his skull is too thick to handle being the HC at Florida doesn't mean he's worthless as a coach.
