Yep...better for the program in the long run. And a lot less embarrassing than UGA again trotting out a scrawny 25-year-old who doesn't seem to have any football future (unless it's arena football).

This isn't the NFL where you can spend 7 years developing a hot shot QB and building around him with draft picks.

In college football, you only have a short window of time with everyone your roster which is significantly larger than an NFL roster.

You play who you think wins this week, not who you think wins next year.

I don't know why people don't understand this. Actually I do.
