The right’s bizarre narrative that they are a “silent majority” is one of the most damaging aspects about our current political environment.
Most democrats accepted they were the minority in the Bush era. The GOP accepted defeat in the Obama era. It’s like the right has turned into a bunch of crazed LSU fans that always come up with excuses for why they are losers.

This country has always centered around traditional judeo-Christian values which the left has openly moved away from steadily since the progressive movement of the turn of the 19th century.
Most people though don’t view politics or social progress as their religion, they have actual religion for that.
That is why conservative, family valued individuals call themselves the silent majority, because they are not vocal with a religious like fervor most progressives are in regards to politics.
