So long as you are a legal citizen in good standing, you should be able to vote with id or request a single ballot to vote absentee with signature verification

Seems simple.

F that

Eta
Not the intent, but the implementation of it. It won’t be equitable or equal.

Saban is all for Federal controlled elections now because he's a Democrat - and Democrats are currently in charge at the Federal level.

Let Republicans regain control - and Nick will rediscover his inner Federalist, and remember that he was for State's Rights all the time.

Will the hypocritical Bama fans call for his resignation or is it worth winning football games to tolerate him?

Who here said he (or anyone) should resign if he supports BLM? Any links to posts? May find a couple so i guess you can call us all hypocrites as the logic goes on this board.
I mean that is required to be a hypocrite right? If you want to support something I disagree with, knock yourself out. I don't demand you lose your job. Sounds like a straw man attack you are making.

Just think guys, you have to show a photo ID to

Buy a beer
Buy a pack of cigarettes
Get on an airplane
Get married
Rent a motel room
Apply for a hunting or fishing license
Buy a cell phone
Get vaccinated

Just to name a few

And yet, people who subscribe to the same ideology as Saban are insisting that expecting a person to show an ID to vote is racist and unreasonable. Y'all think about it

1) There is already a thread about this
2) Why should anybody give a tinker's damn what he, or any other non-politician thinks about it?

Not everyone drives a car so what ID besides a drivers license and passport is a government issued ID? Not so simple.

Then why is a letter from Saban a big deal but not from an average Joe?

Because he is the biggest, most recognized, name in the second largest sport in this country. His words reach a ton of people.

Did he simply answer a question, or did he opine on this on his own?

Social security card, non drivers license. One doesn’t cost a damn thing, one is barely $20.

There is just no excuse.

There is a government ID that I believe is free and can be obtained at any DMV.

And if the person doesn’t drive they can get to the dmv by what means? If they are in the social security system then they can vote? When I went to vote and showed my state issued voter card they still asked for my driver’s license.

Why can Trump vote using the fraudulent absentee system but I cannot?

You constitutional republicans need to go read it about voting. You also need to stop being sheep and stop listening to the lying right wing media.

I dont care what Saban thinks about it. That said, if I were inclined to care, I would be more interested in his thoughts than some cheap whore politician moron.

Lol can’t get to the dmv? Do they not leave their house then? “I can go every place by other transportation means, but it must be I, and I alone, who drives myself to the dmv. “
