Hard to overstate how game changing the (a) Latu TD drop and (b) Hall drop on 3rd down were.

Latu catches that ball - perfect throw in the end zone - we are up 13-3 in the 2nd quarter. If Hall catches that ball we're 1st and 10 inside the 5. If we find a way to punch it in we're up 2 scores against a Georgia offense that has been struggling for almost 3 full quarters and has all the weight of the past 40 years on their shoulders. I feel pretty good about our odds in that situation. And man that throw to Brooks in the last 90 seconds was perfect. Just an inexperienced player that mistimed the ball.

Bryce was very good under extremely difficult circumstances. We just didn't make the plays to win the game, gave them enough time to finally get some confidence, and then they sealed it.

The positive though is these young receivers will have an entire offseason with a chip on their shoulder to work with Bryce, who will only get better, and develop chemistry heading into next year.

It will all be irrelevant if the offensive line doesn't improve. I hope that the tackle positions are better and that maybe Ekiyor returns. It was an impossible task to live up to the 2020 unit's dominance but that group has to be better next year to beat the elite teams.

They definitely need to be better, but if we catch 2 throws then we beat an elite team 2x this year and win the national title even with them being what they were

But yea, absolutely. Gotta be able to impose our will again. This year was pretty embarrassing.

Not sure who will play tackle next year. I would assume that Latham will start at one spot. Interested to see where Tyler Booker ends up. He's the real deal. Not too sure about Brockermeyer. Hopefully the redshirt year helps him.

Definitely feels like the biggest question mark going into next season. Lots of good raw material, but not a lot of proven commodities.

I agree on the dropped passes. Wide receiver will be an interesting position to watch. It is great to get Latu back. Maybe Amari Niblack can make an impact and make us forget Billingsley.

WR has to be the position group that is most wide open for starting spots going into next season. I hope my Louisiana kids show out.

Amazing on how many of those plays, Bryce got wacked in the head, Owens sucked, and the Def PI. Trifecta.

Aaron Anderson will be a factor immediately. He's dynamic. I have to believe that Alabama will add another receiver from the portal, too. I saw where Bru McCoy went into the portal today. I would love to add him.

Bru McCoy beat up his girlfriend. We don’t want him

19 was a huge problem in this game. Part of me wonders if he sabotaged our plan. He wasn’t good all season, but his level of not giving a shite was epic

Man, that last pass to Brooks was almost exactly like the one he caught in the Iron Bowl, except he didn't catch it.

Ugh, we came so close to pulling it off. Just couldn't make the big plays.

These games usually come down to that. I know we like compare everything on paper.

This is why a Rolando McClain or R. Foster type of player is needed on your team. #19 arse should’ve been whooped by a teammate this year.

Man…those were some dime passes! Makes receivers look even worse after breaking it down as he did. Geez, what a wasted performance from Bryce…he can’t catch those balls for them too!

Truth and even further, McClain would have sniffed this shite out earlier in the season and stopped it. Say what you want, but you need mean

Would have been sniffed out in the offseason, which is why it's such a big deal to have so many established leaders coming back this year - specifically Will Anderson.

Saban has said multiple times that Will and Bryce worked their way into being the clear leaders of the team as the season went on (which makes sense given their age). There won't be any working into leadership for the coming year - it's there and it'll be there all offseason. Big plus.

I agree, but I’m not sure they are willing to go to the extremes of McClain

We miss a scary a-hole on the team. Was it 2008 that I thought he was going to kill 24 in the Championship game?

By the way…. I’m not condoning his off the field shite, I’m just saying that he kept folks in line on the field. The same stuff doesn’t work in real life, but he damn sure was a major key for Alabama and Saban
