None of this is pie in the sky and if they don't all happen, it's not the end of the world but these are my current expectations for 2022 LSU:

We get a serviceable QB or a current QB is made into one (should be no problem as long as Brennan doesn't injure himself but you never know).

We get above .500.

We get to a decent bowl game with most of our players not opting out.

We go .500 or better against SEC teams. We beat A&M.

Defense heads back in the direction of typical LSU defense of the 2010's.

One must: we gotta beat FSU. No matter what, we should not lose to FSU even with only walk-ons playing.

Curious as to what the rest of tRant thinks of 2022 LSU.

At Kyle? Something Joe Burrow couldn't do?

I think next year will be Brian Kellys coming out party. Both as a ghey and a fraud.

Smoking crack? Lol
LSU 2022 schedule:
FSU- loss
Soutfrleen-win
Miss State- loss, The pirate gonna light you up.
New Mex-win
Auburn-loss
Tennessee-toss up
Florida- loss
Ole Miss- Loss, Kiffkin has your number
Alabama- big loss
Arkabsss- loss, Pittman is quietly building building something there.
UAB-win
Texas A&M- loss at Kyle field
LSU will be lucky to get bowl eligible with no quality returning players, a completely new system with a new coaching staff, and a difficult schedule.

Kinda happy for UGA. They've taken a lashing the past few seasons and came out on top. Will be interested to see how they fare next season relative to this year.

As for us, I'm glad we have a semi-seasoned starter returning in Brennan - new head coach, new coaches, different culture so we'll see.

Good luck to all in 2022

It's way too early to know. I'd like to see who he pulls from the Portal and how Spring Practice goes. If he gets a few pieces and the players buy in then he could be on his way. If he ends up losing more of his key players and isn't replacing them it could be a rough year. There are no weak teams in the SECW so the margin for error is small as LSU doesn't have as much of a significant talent edge as it has had in recent years and they will be adjusting to a completely new style of play.

You get UT and UF from the East which is a decent draw. UF is rebuilding and you get UT at Tiger Stadium. The other 3 OOC games beyond FSU are easy wins and FSU isn't great but playing them in the first game makes that a lot harder with no time to work out the kinks with an all new system. Overall it's a pretty favorable schedule.

I know you guys love to rag on Aggy but you will probably be double digit underdogs at Kyle. A&M is pretty loaded next year and will be Preseason Top 5 most likely.

I think the O/U is 8-4/7-5. I think sub .500 is more likely than 10 wins. LSU went all in with the rebuild so next year is a mulligan.

I can see all of your expectations being met and exceeded.

ETA
The A&M win will be a tall order, though. Possible, no probably. I didn't think it was probable this year either, though.
