4* CB Davison Igbinosun commits to Ole Miss! Recruit is out of NJ.

Had well over 20 offers, but he chose Ole Miss over Rutgers, which is where his brother plays.

Congrats. Kentucky tried to get in late as we really need some corners. Looks like a good pickup for Ole Miss.

That kid was so well spoken and has some nice off field goals zero doubt if football doesn’t work out he will still be successful in life

For those interested, here's the 247 write up on him:

quote:

“Great frame with length and can easily play at 200 pounds. During live evaluation size, checks out. Multi-sport performer (track and football) who produces in all three phases on high school level. Long strider who covers space quickly. Has size to play safety and hip looseness to play cornerback. Changes direction well. Has speed to cover to the sideline from the safety position on balls thrown down the field. Has excellent ball skills. Willing to come up and fill run gap and be physical at point of attack. Great body control and sure tackler in space. Instinctual player with frame flexibility. Has to work on coverage technique, including backpedal and being more consistent with footwork. Has to show he can cover man-to-man at the line of scrimmage. Needs to work on jams and re-routing receivers if he is going to play corner rather than safety in college. Multi-year starter at Top 20 program.”

Yeah our Co-DC (Chris Partridge) was the HC at Paramus Catholic HS (NJ). He still has a ton of ties into that area.

Also recruited that area heavily when he was on the Michigan staff before moving to OM

Kid is really good and can play any spot in the secondary. He signed in the ESD but waited until tonight to go public.

Yeah. Partridge is from NJ.

Which is the question cheesedick Mr Elvert should have asked but he decided to drip his smegma laden fingers in the thread instead.
