"We literally implemented everything Alabama did, from the weekly schedule with the coaches to the practice schedule to the weight room program to whatever," said Beamer, now South Carolina's head coach. "It was identical. He didn't have to say, 'This is what Alabama did.' You knew it. A lot of stuff we used even had the Alabama logo on it and was copy and pasted with the Georgia logo on it."

Given Alabama's success, I'd be pissed if Kirby didn't copy everything he learned from Lord Saban down to the font on his fricking stationary.

This is a compliment to saban, and I am glad his process worked well. I bet Shane has done just about the same thing.

Is this really a revelation to you dumbfricks? Of course Kirby took what he learned from Saban and ran with it. It why UGA hired him. It’s obviously what works. You think beaner isn’t doing what he learned from Kirby and Lincoln? You dumb fricking bammer trailer trash never cease to amaze me.

I think everyone is completely cool with this. The issue some have is his refusal to really be honest on any of this or even show an iota of gratitude. Beamer’s honesty here is refreshing. But back to Kirby, a man who doesn’t acknowledge where he came from and who helped him along the way isn’t much of a man at all.

I’d like to see a more player driven collaborative approach to the game. Harlequins pulled it off in the Gallagher premiership but I’m not sure these college kids are mature enough to pull it off

Taking the actual documents with him, and photoshopping the UGA logo onto them? Weak, lazy, and potentially actionable. Everything the rumors have said he did.
Think about it as Kirby as the COO of a Fortune 500 company hired as CEO by one of its competitors. Take ideas and processes with him? Sure. Take actual documents and just photoshop a new logo on them? Lazy and actionable.
