This makes no sense. Started this year as a freshman. Obviously in line to start next year. Only thing maybe is his HS coach just got hired by LSU.

Sounds like a case of tampering

Unfortunately i think it will either be LSU or Arkansas.
Time to go after Jaxon Player from Tulsa. Instant Starter at DT

Clemson has a DT in the portal. Our new safety could help with that.

This shocks me. He was on a corse to be a star for us. The landscape of college football is changing in front of our eyes. Sometimes good sometimes bad

Frank Cusumano reported on his radio show today that he talked to multiple people and this is likely due to the hard feelings of former DeSmet coach Robert Steeples toward Drinkwitz for either, a) not interviewing him or b) interviewing him but not hiring him when they had a coaching opening in their secondary.
You can hear his comments here if you go the Opening Monologue 1/6/22 and advance it to 19:30. LINK

Sounds like textbook tampering

If Steeples was Interested, he should have been hired. Hell of a coach, helps solidify St.Louis. now we will have to fight LSU for every top recruit out of Missouri.

No one know what is going on. We just got to move on and try to get someone who isn't looking for a me attitude and or wanted to get promotion and move on from one job to another very quickly. Maybe Drinkwitz wanted someone who is willing to stick around for a while to build a strong foundation. The idea is to find coaches who want to stay at Mizzou and build a strong football program. That isn't going to be easy nowadays. Too many just jump ship whenever they get a chance to get promotion or get more money. It is getting out of control. That is why there are few good football programs that keeps coaches around to build continuity. Mizzou had Gary Pinkel and many complained about keeping same coaching staff for a while. I can see why he did what he did to build a strong football program. Also, it was to have an identity as a football team.

Might help if Mizzou is the one targeting him to come to Mizzou? Like the other Clemson transfer might help get him too and might bring in more of a knowledge of the defense system? Might help with that too.

He shouldn’t be. No school is going to not rotate on the DL.
He was still firmly in the top 4 which means plenty of snaps

I hope we go after Jaxon Player from Tulsa also for DT. Instant starter with Jernigan. Those 2 together would help solidify our top 2 DTs and allow Gracial to develop but still get snaps.
