Didn’t watch the game, but that gif made me smile.
Regardless of the team ... I’d fist bump anyone around me, then take a swig.

That kid certainly left it all on the field.
He was really put into a bad situation, and handled it admirably.
I honestly felt sorry for him (in a good way), because there really just wasn't much else he could do. Reminded me a bit of an early Blake Sims at Alabama, who started as a running back.
It also makes you once again realize the differences in elite college athleticism, because it seems like he was a pretty decent QB in high school.

Lowkey that was a beautiful play to cap off a terrible game and terrible season. Now time to move on to hopefully better days

Watching that, and what I could of the game last night, made me smile.
These guys were doing it for the love of the game and school.

That kid certainly left it all on the field.
A thing of beauty.

All 3 touchdown passes were great throws. Great catches by Jenkins and Nabors too.

It was so weird seeing them celebrate the TD on the field with no time on the clock as they lost in an embarrassing fashion.
Look at the KSU defense just expecting a run to end the game.
The way Lsu fans are being romantic about this garbage play makes me chuckle.

Because it’s nice to see someone give their all on the field and actually play because they love the game and are having fun doing it
Raw amateurism. Which is what college football used to be about

You know what is more embarrassing? Running scared of wake forest.

I'm truly confused why this is being celebrated like it was heroic. The KSU defense thought the game was over.

Glad you guys stepped back from the ledge last night! I was starting to worry that no one would be around for the rebuilding years!

OL Coach Brad Davis said it the best when asked if LSU should have played this game, when there were other teams in the same situation as LSU that did not play.
Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. There are ten seniors in our locker room that all wanted to play, and we would not cheat them out of an opportunity to play. We don't back down from a challenge. That isn't who we are or what we stand for at LSU. We were going to play this game. It's important for us. Every opportunity we get to compete, every opportunity we get to go represent our brand, we're going to take advantage of it. There was never a thought in our mind of not competing or playing.

Actually they were right. The game was over. I was a garbage time TD when it was impossible for LSU to win. Instead of a 28 point loss it was only 22.

You play until 0:00.

The situation reminds me a lot of Tua throwing that touchdown at the end of the LSU game in 2019.
Nice sentiment but really doesn't change the outcome.
