War Eagle Supper Club
The Supper Club closed several years ago, and even when it was open it was just a bar….they never served food.

The Supper Club is where Dye used to meet the bagmen for drinks. Legendary watering hole.

I'm quite sure Pat Dye did not go to the supper club. Ever.

Bad BBQ doesn't exist in Alabama- the place would close in a month. Archibald's does have better ribs than Dreamland. I prefer Dreamland sauce, however. Both are in strange locations but OP should be aware that Archibalds doesn't really have seating: a few seats inside and picnic tables outside. I always got takeout

Just what I would expect an Auburn fan to say.

What ever happened to dreamland. It has been years since I have been there but they had pretty good ribs and had several coaches there over the years

go to the City Cafe in Northport
Mr. bills has them beat IMO
ave not tried or heard of ts one, on McFarland, will try t next time I'm in town
side note -- it kind of surprises me that Auburn does not have a good selection in this category (The Mason Jar, which is decent but more like a country Appleby's; plus a really good one that I can't remember the name of that is in a strip mall and owned by Tuskegee fans/alums)

City Cafe in Northport still open?
It was a month ago. Pretty sure I would have heard otherwise.

Just ate at Archinald’s. Best bbq I’ve ever had

Archibald’s is superior to Dreamland. Dreamland gets the hype, but it hasn’t been Dreamland in a long time.
Yes but its not really dine in friendly. Dreamland is an above average bbq restaurant despite not having the ribs it once had. I love the loaded nachos

The Super Club wasn't a type of place you meet anyone for drinks. It wasn't know as a social bar in any conventional way and when Dye was coach they only served Beer.

It may be an unpopular opinion but I never cared for the Supper Club much.

It was a great place after 1am, mainly because of few other options. It was a hole in the wall and a potential death fire trap. It was the one constant in Auburn night life, so it was popular.

There are some great BBQ places in Alabama. Hard to distinguish the good ones as the best. I actually like Martin's in Birmingham.

Archibald's is my favorite but Martin's may be 2nd. Good call.

Martin's doesn't get the press like the rest, but their brisket is some of the best I have eaten ( including in TX). Their white sauce is excellent.
