Auburn has a lot of food destinations. (Higher End).
1) Acre (Farm to Table)
2) Bow and Arrow (Brisket Tacos are my favorite), same owner as ACRE
3) The Hound
4) Lucy's
5) Hamiltons
6) Amsterdam's
7) The Depot
8) Waverly Local (About 15 minutes out of town)

Esposito's Italian
Big Mike's (Not a fan, but some folks love their steaks, also have a location in Orange Beach Canal Road.
Either Mason Jar or Pannie-George's for Meat and three
