There is no embarassment in showing up and losing. Plenty of embarrassment to those(not naming any names) who cancel.

Barely? They got beaten by 2 TD’s. What Baylor did wasn’t eye popping offensively, but the dominated the game.

It was a 7-7 game in the fourth quarter with them having a chance to take lead.
When they failed to do so, Baylor (to their credit) jumped on the MO train to win the game.
Baylor’s offense scored one TD so that hardly qualifies as embarrassing the other team who had to thrust a FR QB into action due to unfortunate injury. And yes injuries are part of the game. So no excuses for Ole Miss but in no way did Baylor embarrass them either.

Corrall would not have won the game. Bo Wallace would had, but not corrall. You have to be tough to win against that Defense.

I agree that Baylor’s D line is great and they as a group were the MVP of the game. But overall Baylor did not embarrass Ole Miss.
I am old fashioned football fan and love great defense. Last night both defenses were outstanding. Both only gave up one scoring driving to the other offense. Well done by both “D’s”.

I remember when we lost our bowl game, sole Ole Miss dude came in here and started talking smack about us. I will not do the same. We lost to an acadamy (made up of dudes who will take a bullet for us), they lost to a Big XII school. But I know that dude does not represent the majority of Ole Miss fans. So, I will stay out of this one.

False. 100x false. There is embarrassment in canceling 10 days out AND embarrassment in losing. It isn’t one or the other. I accept our administration willingly did this to us and we as fans have to live with the shame of it. But cut it out with this whole “we are all winners in life as long as we try our best” nonsense.
