Biggest knock on DVH this year has been his pitching decisions and management of the bullpen.
Chief among them is trotting Ramage and Zeb out there to eat countless innings that could have been key developmental experience for our young pitchers.

Hagen couldn’t command anything to save his life? Much like he’s shown his last 3 or 4 starts? Not sure why we’d think he was gonna turn a corner all the sudden. DVH definitely didn’t need to keep him in.
ETA - I agree continually trotting Ramage/Zeb out there has been quite frustrating, though. But it is what it is at this point in the season. Should’ve been developing depth throughout the season. But can’t throw first timers out there now. So here comes the Ramage/Zeb show

I turned it off when they went up 10-5. Part of me wants to turn it back on but the other part doesn’t want to jinx us
