Was that a big game?? I was told Stetson can't win a big game. Just asking for clarification.

Unfortunately, some of our fans will be unable to ever admit that Bennett is a good, solid QB. Not great....but good and solid. They will never be able to admit that he can win big games. What they don't understand is we have a Alabama problem and not a big game problem. And everybody in college football has an Alabama problem.

Bennett could lead us to victory over every other college football team in the country. And maybe....hopefully over Alabama.

Michigan blog game thread ..gold

All fan bases melt. All of them.

Most of that could read like us playing Bama last game.

Mistakes made, out schemed and executed, drop balls, turnovers.

Never as bad or good as it seems.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed reading that. They have some fairly decent posters.

No, you were told Stetson can't beat Bama. Quit twisting people's words. There were very few fans, if any, calling for Stet to be benched against Michigan.

He didn't twist anybody's words. It was said thta he could not win a big game. It was also said that he could not beat a ranked team. Maybe you shoudn't untwist people's words?

This isn't true, either. Most felt he wouldn't be benched, but there was several calling for JT to start in the playoffs.

Correct, the CN had already come to the realization that Stet wasn't going to be benched, but they all said he should be.

I would argue that he isn't even winning these games. He's basically coordinating a star studded cast.

If he's that good - and considering our record - NFL scouts would be drooling by now. Oddly, none seem to be. Why oh why?

As far as the game itself, Michigan was laughably over-matched by us on both sides of the ball. They didn't look like they belonged. Playoffs this year are seeming like something of a fail considering Cincinnati and Michigan up against their respective opponents that are at another level. Good argument to improve the system and an 8-team playoff at least.

There's not a UGA QB in the last 10 years - other than maybe Faton Bauta - that doesn't preside over us beating Michigan yesterday.

That's the way I remember it. I mean, if for some reason he falters and Kirby decides to put JT in, I will be pulling for him as hard as I pulled for Stetson.

I saw a couple of threads that was praising Bennett and a lot of down votes were on there. I don't get why people cannot say he played a good game against good competition.

I will pull for the Georgia QB no matter who it is.

It was big, no doubt but it’s not the one that counts. If we don’t win 1/10 the season will be just another failure. No SEC championship, No natty.

It’s 2022 , aka past time for people to reject and ignore the arrows (which were designed on hamster experiment tech)

I read a thread last night on here where someone wanted to fight the one down arrow clicker on his thread. Then a broken retard and a skank debated who might have clicked it.

It’s also the same 10 who click all arrows on here. And trust me, they aren’t the best and brightest

So he's no good unless he wins the National Championship game?

Hmmmm. What JT Daniels was the QB and he did not win the National Championship game? Would he still be good or would he be trash?

Why are y'all hung up on NFL? Tom Brady was a 7th round pick. Nobody was drooling after him, either. Why, oh why weren't they drooling after Tom Brady?

No. I am not comparing Bennett to Tom Brady. I am arguing that stars as a recruit and scouts "drooling" over someone is not the end all do all.

Quit worrying about star ratings and the NFL and worry more about what happens in college. I don't care if he ever sets foot on an NFL field. Why do you?

No point trying to rationalize with the CN. They are miserable and most wish they were 1/2 as good and as successful as Stetson. They are just a sad people.

What? And have Houston and Oregon, maybe even Oklahoma and Pitt?

Well, he was a 6th round pick to be accurate.

There are always exceptions. Brady was in a situation of splitting his playing time with another QB during his senior year at UM. That might have been a factor.

He can win A big game, he can’t win THE big game.

That is the angst of the logical GA fan.
