Obviously, you haven't been watching the games - the SEC is absolutely dominating the "L" column. It isn't even competitive.

Yep, my prediction is obviously hyperbole, but it's not far removed from how I objectively assess our chances.
It's clear by now that the SEC is down compared to previous seasons.
LSU, Florida and Auburn are each in transition coaching situations and had bad seasons.
A&M is the 2nd best team in the West but lost to Arkansas, Ole Miss and a bad LSU team.
Meanwhile, Bama had many lackluster games and lost to A&M. And now their 2nd best receiver, Metchie, is out for the season.
Tennessee's offense looks strong, but they absolutely got hosed by the refs last night.
MSU is not a good team under the Pirate. They were a better team with Mullen at the helm; Mullen should have stayed at MSU and Florida should have hired a coach who can recruit their home state.

As such, Georgia's fine 12 win regular season looks less impressive due to the overall decline in the SEC.
I hope I am wrong, but I still don't see Bennett as a championship level QB.
He could be with the right offense, but I don't see that happening. Bennett should be rolling out early and often with an option to run or pass. When he gets tired, bring in another QB to give him a break. SC did this very effectively in the only SEC bowl win vs NC yesterday.
I rewatched some of the Clemson game yesterday and conclude that we are missing Anderson mightily. There's simply no substitute for LB with that kind of speed and ability to pressure the opposing QB.
We are also missing championship level RBs. We had them in Gurley, Chubb and Michel but were missing other key elements back then.
We also don't have tall and fast big play receivers. The closest we have is Bowers but he is a TE. I would be tempted to play Bowers at WR and use one of our other TEs in the TE position.
Bennett is short by championship level QB standards and needs to be able to throw the ball high to tall receivers.
