Kirby isn’t leaving Georgia unless they fire him. Once Saban leaves Bama, Kirby’s biggest issue may be solved so I don’t see Georgia firing him at that point.

Georgia is his alma mater and the Alabama job doesn't give him any kind of tangible, competitive advantage that Georgia doesn't.

Because we will give him the Saban deal. He’ll always get $1 more than the highest paid coach after he wins a championship, will have full control of the football program(no boosters to have to listen to) and he will get any facility improvements he asks for. No program is more committed to win than Bama. It’s easier to build dynasties here because we care more.

Saban hasn't had that "deal" in his contract since he was at LSU. Georgia does and will pay Kirby plenty.

Or maybe it's because Alabama has had the two best coaches in NCAA history.
