This is a good read if you're a Tennessee, Vandy, Auburn, and South Carolina fan. Some teams were great and others not so great.

Finally, a legit topic. Thanks.
Those grades make no sense though. 6-6 in the SEC West is a D- while 5-7 in the weak BigTen is a B. Okay.

Evidently 2 wins at Kansas gets you a B-. I'm not expecting a 15-0 rampage en route to a national title from Kansas but 2 wins (one of them against a reeling Texas team) isn't exactly above average work.

Expectations and talent have to be considered. South Carolina and Auburn had the same season, record-wise. There's no doubt who did the better coaching job.

He beat Penn St and Minnesota. What was AU’s signature win?

This. South carolina roster was garbage, as was Tennessee's. South carolina clearly improved as the season went on. As did vandy. Auburn played well at times but also seemed quite pedestrian at times. Aside from pitt, we didn't leave any wins out there.

Shane Beamer head of the list. Who woulda thought it, but good for USC fans.

I have zero idea what Harsin was dealing with, but he basically took a 9 win team in talent and managed to squeeze 6 wins out of them. And when I say, at least 9 wins, I mean, I'm considering if the Gus Bus was still in the driver's seat.

I think Kansas' coach is the real deal. They were at least competitive in the games they lost that I saw.
Which is a big deal considering the absolute dumpster fire they were. I've kind of followed him since he got hired out at Buffalo.
I wish AD'S would roll the dice more on very successful coaches in the lower divisions. Instead of having to go after a big name.

It's pretty good when you get hired 3 weeks after Spring football

Not so sure about that, South Carolina is in the east - the east was awful, absolutely awful.

They played the barners. Push SC.

I'm in no way happy with how the season went. We lost completely winnable games. Harsin has to do better if he wants to stay. Bottom line

Shane was a big surprise, and shows that thinking outside the box can work for schools.
Another example of outside the box thinking working out: Michigan and how they have handled their coach.

Psshh, that doesn't even come close to beating PSU and Minnesota.
I completely forgot about that win

Who in the F gives Bielemma anything but an F, Illinois over Auburn's season is just dumb. This whole list is quite possibly the most bulls I've ever seen. Bet that Illinois will have another mediocre season next year and Auburn will best this season we had.

It’s Illinois compared to Auburn…
