I doubt it. I don't think Finley is SEC material. He's tough but I just don't see him as a permanent answer.

Yes, we are looking for a transfer QB. However, we don’t know who the target is (Slovis was rumored). I wouldn’t be surprised Harsin reaching out to Jack Sears now

He's been at Boise 3 years and has played very little. if he can't win the starting job at Boise I doubt he would be any good in the SEC.

Yes, Sears wouldn’t win the starting job here. There is a chance, incoming FR Holden Geriner might take over (early enrollee). He is pretty talented (4star, Elite11 QB). However, this would also mean a lot of growing pains behind this OL. Next year is going to be a total rebuilding year on offense for us.

Why the barn? Timing is everything by the way. If Tyson had come in during the G-Mac era or even through 2014 he would have seen the field much more and been a viable option. But the high-flying guys BAMA has brought in since 2016 means you are sitting behind some elite QBs and plenty of them.

What about the kid that burst onto the scene from Incarnate Word? Is he still in the picture? I know I'd read Auburn linked with him, along with Ole Miss.

Holden Geriner played for my high school alma mater. I saw him every home game and playoff game on the way the AAAA state championship this year. He’s going to be a good one for AU.
