Here it is! I’ve figured out the key to beating Alabama! Teams must have a QB that is over 6ft and was not a former walk-on. (Total Rushing Yards for Game)

Zach Calzada 6ft 4in (12 yards)
Joe Burrow 6ft 4in (64 yards)
Bo Nix 6ft 3in (44 yards)
Trevor Lawerence 6ft 6in (27 yards)
Jarrett Stidman 6ft 3in (51 yards)
Deshaun Watson 6ft 2in (43 yards)
Chad Kelly 6ft 2in (21 yards)

If Stetson gives UGA a “running threat” as QB shouldn’t we expect more than 23 total rushing yards in two games vs Alabama?
Stetson Bennett 5ft 10in (11 yards) 2021
Stetson Bennett 5ft 10in (12 yards) 2020

Hell in 2008 Stafford had 11 yards rushing against Alabama and last I checked he is not a mobile QB like Stetson.

JT Daniels is the QB UGA needs if they want to beat Alabama.

And if JT starts and loses to Michigan or Bama.

Will you vow here and now not to come here with some lame arse he needed more game time excuse?

Who was the poster that said they'd rather start and lose with JT than have Stet play?

Bryce Young and Tua Tagliovollaha are both 5’ 11” midgets. And they both carved our backfield to pieces.

Crazy idea here…. Maybe we need better defensive game plan against Bama?

I can understand that position. It's embarrassing to trot out a guy with no NFL capabilities when we are a top 3 recruiting power every year under Smart.

We've already started Stet and lost twice against Alabama. Why not try JT?

The elephant in the room few people are giving enough attention was that atrocious soft zone defensive gameplan that cannot be used again.

Conveniently cutting off Johnny Manziel's win... because is just barely 6 ft. Doesn't fit your narrative.

Worried way more about the defensive plan that Stet (IF we can beat Michigan).

TBH ..like most games..that game was basically 3 plays from being the other direction. The fumble we had in our hands being the biggest IMO.

I think either QB if they execute can win. Was surprised Stet wasn’t able to get any runs..other QBs did well against Bama.

Weird that you’re including positive rushing yards in a stat to beat Bama because I’m very confident JT will not having positive rushing yards vs. Bama (sacks are included in rushing yards).

Yes Manziel would fall in the elite Heisman vs game manager narrative. Was it 10 or 12 years ago he beat Bama?

Valid point. Still doesn't solve the fact that Bennett can't throw a deep ball.

Kirby has faced and lost to Alabama 4 or 5 times. maybe we should try another coach? (Logic is important)

If Zach Calzada can win against Alabama, I guarantee you Bennett can.

Not sure where this narrative got started...but check out this video and start it at the 1:39 mark. Bennett throws a pass 50 yards in the air. Earlier in the video he throws on 45 yards. There are others sprinkled in around 40-45 yards.

Does he do it often? no. Nobody does it often. He runs the plays that YouTube are called.

Did you really just use a highlight from UAB to justify him being able to throw a deep ball? I don’t think that’s the actual narrative that’s being questioned. It’s him throwing the ball with accuracy deep and not under-throwing receivers which could end up either being a defensive pass interference (if we’re lucky) or an interception. There are countless clips of this happening when better defenders are playing our WR’s in tight man.

And let me add, at this point I don’t know if we have a QB on the roster who can accurately do that.
