I think most people think Kelly is a solid hire who could be really good if he recruits well. And who the hell said he would rival Saban’s success at Alabama. The OP here certainly didn’t. Work on those reading comprehension skills.

In my opinion, anyone that truly believes this is a moron. Mostly the national media is who I am referencing. Winning trumps everything. Saban yells at the local media weekly. He hates them. But, he doesn't give two shits. Winning trumps everything. We're about to have a down recruiting class that when it's done would have been Kelly's idk 3rd or 4th best class he had ever signed at ND. The people with money at LSU are very happy to have an abrasive, non-idiot for a coach, I promise. That's all that matters. As for recruiting, the first thing he did was add Frank Wilson. He's arguably the greatest recruiter of the state of Louisiana. BK will fit in perfect, as long as he wins.

The most frequently thing said by an LSU fan over the past decade plus is "we're the more talented team and were clearly outcoached." Let's see if this continues.

I mean.... If you ask an LSU fan with any common sense if they would trade the 2019 season for not having to stress about being relevant going forward, they would probably still request a shot of whiskey and 10 minutes to think about it. That exact team today would probably make the NFL playoffs this season. It was magical.

Lol..without a doubt the most comic relief post of the day. LSU wrote a fat check and contract to a coach with a really mediocre coaching record against sub standard competition. And with NIL, you can’t compete for the players. Look at Texas, 3 months ago they couldn’t get a 4/5 star to look at their program. Big money donor network got out the checkbooks, all of a sudden they have the number 5 class. Their horrible record and poor coaching didn’t get them that. LSU better get used to last place. You’ve been fricked ever since Texas/OU and NIL changed SEC football.
