re: City St. George is NOT incorporated, therefore is null, void and has no legal authority.

What was the cost of the terrible street signs? $2-3m? I laugh every time I see them driving on Bluebonnet or see the new "City of St. George" sign on Perkins by Louisiana nursery.
At no point in any of our lifetimes will anyone think of either of those areas as the City of St George and not Baton Rouge.
Louisiana will never be anything other than a clown show.

LeDildo isn’t winning anymore championships, let’s be honest. I can’t wait for him to retire with four. No one will ever convince me otherwise that LeDildo only winning four should be anything other than a disappointment.
LeDildo should forever go down as the TOAT. Talentedest of All Time. Yeah, I made that up. Whatever. The human with the most God given physical ability to play sports in the history of this planet. I’m sure some loser douche will respond Jim Thorpe! or Jesse Owens! or Ali, man or Jim Brown! but, let’s be honest.. LeDildo has been a physical freak for 23 years.
He’s going to retire without a “moment.” Chasing someone down from behind for a block won’t ever count (*see the athletic ability thing above). MJ had the UNC shot and, let’s be honest, he didn’t push Byron. LeDildo will always have Ray Allen’s game winner. And Kyrie’s!
All the losers always lubed up for LeDildo go straight to stats. Give me the winner. I’ll always take Kobe.

If you take all baseball related things away from Cooperstown, it is still a truly amazing small town to visit. Surrounded by hills/mountains and the finger lakes. It's like a small town out of a movie. It's awesome.

I’m with this guy. Chabert looks hotter in those photos, but, after Wedding Crashers and The Notebook, I’ll always be Team McAdams. She’s fricken adorable and always plays witty characters vs Chabert’s ditzy ones.
re: What is better and more coveted: Wrigley Field or Fenway Park?
Posted by BrianFlanagan on 6/16/26 at 4:45 pm to braves21
I’m a Yankees fan from Baton Rouge that has been to 5-6 games in Fenway, most weren’t against the Yankees.
I always describe every game I have been to at Fenway as comparable to LSU regional games. Red Sox vs don’t care teams and the fans are like LSU regional games. Red Sox vs Yankees and it’s like a super regional game. Fenway is the best place on Earth to watch a baseball game. Yankee Stadium gives off too many corporate event vibes.
Wrigley is also great, but the fans aren’t as raucous. Experience not as great. But, wrigleyville is top notch.

My son and I went to the PSG v Real Madrid Club World Cup match last summer and it was fricken hot. Like hot hot. My seven year old wanted nothing to do with the game bc it was so hot and he's never lived anywhere other than BR.

I can’t speak to any other library, but I challenge you to drive by the main library on Goodwood at any time that it’s open and see if you don’t have more than 20 people inside at a time. I drive past it multiple times a day and the parking lot is always packed.
I live by the Bluebonnet Branch and it’s literally always packed, also. I had no idea before having young kids. And, both libraries are truly awesome for kids.

I’m a huge dog lover, and I think you’re missing the biggest point here.
Dogs aren’t like people. Dogs don’t tell you they aren’t feeling well. 99% of the time, we don’t notice anything until whatever is affecting them has reached a point where they act funny and it’s usually too late at that point.
Two years ago, I lost my guy at seven years old. He started acting weird on a Saturday. Real weird on Sunday. We thought he ate a slim jim, wrapper included. Took him to the vet Monday. They xrayed him looking for an obstruction and his lungs looked like shite. They admitted him in their hospital. He died on Wednesday. Wasn’t put down. Literally died.
I’m self-employed and bring my dogs to work with me. Spend more time with them than my wife and kids. Didn’t notice anything weird before he legit fricking died five days later.

A lot of these responses remind me of my first dog, a Westie. There’s not a poster on this board I wouldn’t shoot if I had to pick between my dude and them. Best damn dog ever.

St. Jude in BR. Fantastic school. Pre-K and 1st grade. Around $7500/each.

I've never even kind of liked either coach, but I'm genuinely surprised by Geno's world class bitch actions. I couldn't care less about whatever the reason the two coaches were acting like children. But, Geno storming into the locker room throwing the biggest tantrum in history without telling a single SC player congrats or good game should be the end of his illustrious, but bitch made career.
re: Can UCONN overcome the Dook curse?
Posted by BrianFlanagan on 4/3/26 at 8:28 pm to thelegendofthepast
Geno got his arse kicked on the court and that's all that matters. World class bitch move to leave the court in a giant tantrum rather than congratulating the SC players on a good game. The players had nothing to do with his "I'm a giant pussy" fight with Dawn. He got his vagina kicked in and he couldn't handle it.
Love her or hate her (I'm on team hate her lets be honest), but Dawn Staley is a boss bitch.

Someone somewhere is making a meme of Geno Auriemma getting pegged by Dawn Staley and he deserves worse. What a bitch. Doesn’t matter what happened. He just acted like the biggest woman in the arena.

Factual, but some of my best memories are from that ballpark. My grandma was an usher there for like twelve years as I was growing up. Spent many summers living in that ballpark. An hour before giving her eulogy a decade ago, I ate lunch sitting at a picnic table she and I ate at many times together while finally getting to see Yu Darvish deal in person.
I was so happy when they decided not to tear it down.

Man, when I read the title, my first thought was how my seven year old stayed home from school today because we thought he might have the flu and has driven me nuts today. He just wants his dad to play with him and I’m really busy with work.
But, reading your post made me shed actual tears. I wouldn’t trade him annoying me for anything in the world. I’m so sorry for your loss.
