re: What software should I use to design a logo?
Posted by BrianFlanagan on 4/18/24 at 11:10 am
Canva has thousands of genre specific logo templates. It's very easy to navigate and the designs are excellent. Can probably get a free premium trial that will last long enough to create whatever you need and then just cancel. I keep the premium subscription and visit the website daily for some sort...

This might be an unpopular two cents and I’m probably bias because I like his music, but I think of an alcoholic as someone that has to drink a fifth a day or more and often sits at home by themselves putting down a bottle. I have no idea how much he drinks, so maybe he does. I don’t know.

Dammit lol I went through six pages to post what two posts up posted.
I love Derek Jeter the way I love pictures of Elizabeth Hurley, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Anniston and gifs of Livvy Dunne. But, Jeter’s run across the field, memorable toss and home tag had a lot of right place, right time luc...
Not to nitpick, but Alchemist is in Stowe. Waterbury is a great little town to visit though.
I was doing more typing than thinking. You're right. The original production facility is in Waterbury, so I've always thought of it as a Waterbury brewery. I'm in Baton Rouge and since havi...

I just saw Pro Pig only serves their in house beer now, which makes me feel like I need to reevaluate life. Their food is still fricken amazing. But! The Reservoir has Abner on draft, which Hill Farmstead isn't saying available on site currently, and I go wherever the Abner goes.

If I only had one day in Vermont, I would spend it in Waterbury going to Prohibition Pig, Blackback Pub and The Reservoir. Hit the Craft Beer Cellar across the street from Pro Pig. Drive over to Burlington and walk around downtown and maybe check out Foam (I've had hit and miss experiences) and mayb...

re: Anyone with experience in franchising from either side?

I do currently run a business. And, I have successfully filed and received three trademarks 100% on my own without the help of an attorney or anyone else. I’m in the alcohol business, which has about as many hoops to jump through, as possible, and do all of my own filings.
This isn’t filing norma...
Anyone with experience in franchising from either side?
Posted by BrianFlanagan on 1/30/24 at 8:31 pm
I have a meeting in the morning with a company that will do all of the work to make you a franchisor, for a decent sized fee, obviously.
Honestly, it seems like a lot of work with the filings with the FTC and such. Reality is I’m never going to do it on my own.
I’m interested in any informatio...
Has it been confirmed that the use Everclear in their margs or was that just a rumor to explain how trashed people get off their drinks?
