I was at the AAAA semifinal game Benedictine vs. North Oconee last night. It was a very fun game to experience.

Langston Hughes is one of the schools that my association calls games for. That's a feather in our caps.
And Fellowship Christian, another of our schools, made the semis in Tim McFarland's(former Roswell HC) first year there. They lost to Trinity Christian in PTC.

Had them earlier in the year against McEachern.
They blew doors off of McEachern in the 2nd half. I think it was 26 unanswered IIRC. That is a well coached team.

Have either of you called any college ball? I have 5 years of high school under my belt, so and I’ll be taking a camp this summer to get the ball rolling and hopefully officiate some division II next season.

Just some club ball for Gordon down in Barnesville.
One of our founding members is a retired ACC HL.
And go for it. You'll at least have your foot in the door and your name will be out there. I want to, I'm still only 40. But there is a lot of time involved and a lot of $$$, and w/a 6 yr.old right now my time is a precious resource right now, LOL. I want to try again here once she gets closer to middle school.
And I know a couple of guys at Multi-County.

The high school I graduated from is back in the finals. Fitzgerald High School. That said, Thomasville is an absolute machine this year. Should be a great game. Fitzgerald has lost in the finals more times than I can count. Maybe this is the year.

Dekalb, Clayton, and APS are all a little weird. Every few years they seem to have one school that attracts all the talent and they roll from there. There are a few exceptions like Cedar Grove who stays constant.

Carver’s been pretty good for several years now. They were in the semis last year and the quarters a few years back.
Don’t know much of anything about this year’s team, but they haven’t snuck up on anybody.
