Just saw all of Kelly's top assistants told him to go frick himself and are staying at Notre Dame.
Has there ever been a major hire that couldn't get any of his top assistants to follow him to a new job? Wonder why his staff hate him so much.

We all know that Saban doesn't need assistants. He turns them over annually and keeps trucking.
Kelly had guys who had been with him since his first HC job who aren't following him. He's also targeted several who have told him no.

I love when people take the one time it worked and extrapolate that data to make a case as to why it will work again when it is obviously the Anomaly.

Everyone doesn't just pick up their lives and move across the country. Especially when your job is already at a place like Notre Dame. It shows how impressive LSU pulling Brian Kelly was.

Word is Elko got away from Kelly ASAP. He was only there 1 year.
He's been with Jimbo for 4 years and has had multiple head coaching job offers every year and decided to stick with Jimbo.
