Meh. We're going to a 12-team playoff next year. No one is going to be up in arms about a 9-3 and 13th ranked LSU team missing the playoffs.

No problem, they can do just like Central Florida did a few years ago and name themselves honorary NC.

This just shows the folly of the FSU argument The LSU/FSU fellatio fest is purely resting on the fact that FSU is undefeated BUT Liberty is not in for the EXACT same reason at the end of the day...WHO they played matters in a tight race in particular. If they played Bama's schedule they would have several losses, just as FSU would. We will see one of the losses for FSU when UGA skulldrags their sniveling asses all over the field coming up soon.

They LSU folly is highlighted more when these fans want Daniels to het the Heisman forgetting the other frontrunner has his team UNDEFEATED. Of course some will say "But that isn't a Heisman criteria"...well neither is it a CFP Playoff criteria either. And although it isn't a criteria, generally and historically speaking, the best player on one of the top teams is usually who wins the heisman so whatever...

I might as well enjoy it while I can before Oregon blows our 13-0 season to smithereens

Undefeated G5 team with no P5 or ranked wins =/= Undefeated P5 team with P5 and ranked wins

An individual award =/= a team playoff appearance

Alabama logic, everyone.

But they beat Missouri H2H on their home field. Do the games even matter anymore??

I'm just glad I don't have to hear the phrase "it's about the four best teams" for the 500th time in a row on an ESPN network.

Ahh so you are admitting WHO is played on the schedule matters? At least this is a start...

Never did I say it did, however the sentiment is the same. The Heisman usually goes to an undefeated team's best player or one of the very top record-wise. So it's ok too look deeper into the minutiae of things beyond leading a team to being undefeated when it comes to your ox getting gored but not when it comes to your rivals?

Sorry for your lack of ability to analyze beyond your "undefeated" talking point. Maybe some logic would suit you...

How did the evangelicals at Bible University pull off getting Oregon to boost the program. Super impressive and hilarious. Every top 12 team for that matter plays a real game. We get the Jesus study group.
