but their anger is directed in the wrong place.

SI

According to a report from Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger, presidents from the ACC, Big Ten and Pac-12 all voted against a proposal that would have expanded the College Football Playoff to 12 teams starting with the 2024 season.

Sucks that we have to suffer as well.

Um… the anger should properly be directed at the source of the leak (somewhere in the vicinity of College Station, Texas) that Texas and OU were joining the SEC.

The premature leak and the flurry of media activity polluted the tranquil discussions going on to the point the expansion of the playoffs had no chance.

Good leaders don't make deals that hurt themselves to spite others. They recognize it doesn't really do them any good and it didn't really hurt the SEC either. It hurt Georgia, but not the SEC.

I think UGA should be mad. There is no way that Georgia isn't one of the 4 best teams in the country.

Alabama
Texas
Georgia

Wasn't the ACC, B1G, & PAC in that "alliance" a few years ago with the agreement NOT to take teams from each other?

How would this affect this season if it starts next season?
