Fans of the King...set your alarms...we all need a wake-up call right now!

It's clear...this year's Georgia team is not of the same caliber as the previous 2 seasons. In fact, I don't believe they're of the same caliber of the previous 4 seasons.
The Dawgs have issues (lots of injuries, yes...lots of D's drafted into the pros, yes...brand new OC and QB, yes); but, what I'm talking about are players who need to grow up fast. They need to change their attitude. But, CKS is aware of this and it's getting addressed.
Now, to the ugly part of all this....
Take a look at UGA's run defense yards/ per carry allowed over the past 4 years and then look at this year's number. Wow.
2019 - 2nd
2020 - 1st
2021 - 2nd
2022 - 3rd
2023 - 67th
We gave up more than 5 yds/carry last week vs. Auburn for the first time since 2018. It was also the first time since 2018 UGA gave up more than 200 yards rushing. Granted, Auburn can run it...it's one of their big strengths this year so far.
On the other side, UGA ran for under 4 yards/per carry against Auburn. Only 3.6 yds/carry. This is the 2nd time this year we've been held this low in the run game, whereas, it only happened to UGA ONCE in the past 2 seasons. Sack numbers don't even enter into this equation, either.
The previous 2 years UGA avgd about 5.5 yds/carry....this year we're down a full yard. So far, this Georgia team is NOT the same Georgia team of old. It has much work to do to get better and to have any serious thoughts about 3-peating.
For the first time this year, Fox analyst, Joel Klatt, has moved UGA down from #1 to #3...he believes both Michigan and Texas would beat Georgia next week if they played, perhaps even if the games were played in Athens. OUCH!!
1...Michigan
2...TEXAS
3...GEORGIA
4...Ohio State
5...Penn State
6...Florida State
7...Washington
8...Oregon
9...USC
10..OKLAHOMA
All top 10 teams are undefeated, btw.

Guess we’ll have to play the games to see what happens

To me it seems that they’re just going through the motions, it will be curious to see if they can flip the switch when they get in trouble against a real team.

When I was a kid, I saw Richard Petty in a bathroom at Hollywood Studios in Orlando. I gave him a courtesy two urinal separation.

I realize that you are preparing for a loss this Saturday but pay no attention to anything that Joel klatt ever has to say.

I don't see Kentucky winning an Athens night game but the Dawgs haven't been great in any game. If UGA defends Davis like Florida did Kentucky might steal the East.
Saturday is make or break for both teams.

yeah if Kentucky can win the East, Idk that Georgia will get in this year with a 11-1 mark
Likewise, i don’t think Texas will get in with a 12-1 mark if we aren’t Big 12 Champs

I could see losing this weekend and then getting in at 12-1 if we beat Oklahoma in a rematch for Big 12 championship.
But, I also don't see us losing this weekend.
