FanDuel's current odds for NFL MVP are:

3. Josh Allen +1000
3. Jalen Hurts +1000 (lost to LSU in 2019)
5. T. Lawrence +1200 (lost to LSU in 2019)
5. Burrow +1200 (won natty at LSU in 2019)

That Burrow line definitely presumed he kicks it up a notch because right now he’s barely among top 30 starting QBs in most metrics.

The league is too in love with QBs. Micah Parsons is the best player in the league.

I agree, Parsons has been great.

QBs have won the past 10 MVPs. I think LT was the last defensive player to win one.

You seem as insecure as a grey haired old man who can’t admit to himself that he is out of touch with the modern world.

Good list.

Cajunbama, you are mixing up your attempted insults. Try to write them down on paper, figure out if they make sense, then type them into a post. Good luck old-timer!

Yeah I think he rushed back too fast after his injury

You could tell he isn't settling well and they rarely have gone deep so far this season. Wish he would've waited to come back because now he just looks trash.

We all know he will be fine by week 4 or so. I’d actually be surprised if he doesn’t play well Sunday. I just hate to see it because he’s not healthy but he’s not a guy that you can keep from playing unless he’s got a bad injury.

I would think they reevaluate not playing him in preseason if healthy from now on

They are not sure if Burrow will even play this week with his injury. Probably would have been best to wait until he was 100% healthy to play him.

While I agree with this intuitively, the reality is that QB is, in fact, the most valuable part of almost any team. It’s all but impossible to win with a below average person here.

Parsons is one example that defies (or at least challenges) that, but he is one of less than probably half a dozen non-QB’s that can say that.

I get it, but I've also seen a lot of pro bowl QBs rendered useless because the pro bowl center/right guard went down. I just think ultimately it balances out much more compared to how people give credit. I mean FFS the #5 odds to win MVP are a hurt QB that's 0-2 already. It's a little crazy.

Tua can't stay healthy long enough to win it, can he?
