If the past is any indication, Milroe becomes the second coming of Michael Vick in about week 3.

history says yes but the issues they are having are recurring ones from each of the past few seasons, I don't think it gets fixed.

Milroe is benched and someone comes off the bench that Ole Miss makes look like the next Heisman winner.

HA, thanks for the laugh. USF? then Ole Miss will fold the nxt week as usual. Bama will still have the 1 loss when going to State and then the loses will continue.

Possibly. Saban should give the middle finger to the fans, media, and everyone else who have thrown dirt on the coffin already. Jesus, it's one GD game! Texas is probably the best team on their schedule. Tennessee is overrated and LSU was taken to the wood shed in week 1. Overall, the SEC looks average. Georgia has a cupcake schedule all year.

It's no mystery on offense.
You have an excellent dual-threat QB; use him as such.
Put frequent outside pressure on opposing defensives with run/pass options.
This will in turn open up the running game up the middle.

On defense, they need to find a way to get pressure on the opposing QB.

I am starting to think that the O was much more constrained because of the QB room than just Milrone's lack of certain skills.

If you are worried that your running QB is going to get injured running RPOs and zone reads and you have nothing behind him, then you have to limit the number of pure called QB runs that will limit the pounding he takes.

It is what it is. Bamas OL got whipped across the board and I am not sure changing the O would have had a major change. Milrone has a cannon and a nice deep ball. He was sacked 5 times and pressured 11. You put in a less mobile guy and this game is probably worse. If you run him with the amount of pressure we saw Texas consistently getting and most likely you are looking at added fumbles or injuries.

I look at his game play and ask "Was he better than he was vs A&M last year?" and yes he was. He is still a one read guy and really isn't in a position to audible out of plays, but he has made improvements.

The OL has to get fixed by Ole Miss and the D has to find a way to get pressure. The QB play is probably the 3rd biggest concern for Bama right now, but is the most obvious to see because he was running for his life last night.

We got to have the O line become the second coming of the ‘95 Cowboys O line first.

Well him (mainly his picks) and the defense cost them that game. It's not like their schedule is filled with opponents with QBs as good as Texas.

Alabama, with that cupcake schedule, will easily win the rest of the regular season games.

For starters, I'll settle for our center becoming the second coming of Ryan Kelly.

Hell, I'll settle for William Vlachos.

I was about to say the same thing. Alabama defense started struggling in 2019.

That 2019 defense was plagued with injuries so I couldn’t say much, but since we lost Cochran, the intensity hasn’t been there. Golding was just one issue.

Lol. The only team Georgia has left with a pulse is Ole Miss. Tennessee was in a battle with Austin Peay till the 4th quarter
