I wouldn't know LSU's basketball coach if he was standing beside me, can't even name anyone on the team.
I don't know who even won the championship last year.

Sounds like your baseball team is still last in the SEC. Or do Friday games getting blown out by Mizzou not count now? Hard to keep up

The same core group is here and posting. I’m up in the mountains looking at property to buy as a getaway spot. I sold the small farm and moved to Maryville for the schools but want something out of the city again to escape to.

I haven’t been on the Rant for a year yet. BUT, I have noticed that posters here find the outlier (or most outrageous) poster and make him the face of the entire fan base.

I sold a small 16 acre farm in Blount County 2 years ago and was able to pay for a decent house where I wanted to be and add to it. I’m doing ok. The properties in Townsend are silly expensive for what they and I’ll likely have to look further out to find the right situation. I want something well off the road with few neighbors. A true small 4 room cabin. Bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, main room. A fireplace and AC with reliable internet. I’ll do solar and generator for power, just a place to get away in.

Yes they are. Wears Valley ain't any better now if I was to guess.
Might have to look up towards deliverance country around Kodak and whatnot.
I sure miss it up there though.
