Can we Finally Admit That One and Done Has Ruined CBB

Some of the upsets we have seen the last few years in March that historically never happened coupled with seemingly the “oldest” teams winning the tourney, are proof this is the case. Would CBB benefit from the NBA taking kids right out of HS? Meanwhile reverting back to the 3 year rule if you go,the NCAA route. CBB would be a better product and you could argue the NBA would too.

Lot of these teams have athletes playing basketball vs basketball players.

So your thesis is that CBB would be better with less talent?

Virginia, who has seen some of the biggest upsets the last few years, have regularly had some of the more experienced rosters in the NCAA Tournament.

They wouldn’t necessarily have worse talent.

Can we Finally Admit
We just want you to admit the underlying issues behind why you’re wasting all this time on a message board when you have confided to all of us that your family is poor and trashy. Shouldn’t you spend more time trying to lift yourselves up?

No,it would be a better product to follow and talent wise. It would have continuity and let players develop.

I feel like one and done has actually been less of a big deal in recent years

That's been true for eons though. As for 'one and done...' I think that's been mitigated a great deal by the new transfer rules. One free transfer has been huge in basketball. It has had an effect in all sports but it's completely changed and is continuing to change college basketball.

But you legit bragged about how poor and trashy tour family was. You don’t remember? It was hilarious…

That is the Alabama fan side of my family, and they are trashy.

And really, there’s only a handful of teams who typically have enough one and dones to really make the difference OP is talking about. Several teams that have guys that come back.

Looks like he did prove himself. I’d welcome that setup.

I just think for the sport it would be better if it went back to a sustainability model vs a flash in the pan model.
